Karl Rippelmeyer
In 2007, Rip was inducted into the US Lacrosse National Hall of Fame.  He earned All-American honors three times during his playing career with the Naval Academy and was a key contributor to Navy’s 1960 National Championship team.  At graduation, he received the prestigious Navy Sword as the best athlete of his class where he won nine varsity letters in soccer, track and lacrosse. Rip is a member of the Naval Academy Athletic Hall of Fame.  In 1964, he was the player-coach of the Camp Pendleton Marine Lacrosse team that won the California Lacrosse Club championship.  Rip also received several citations for his Viet Nam service in the US Marine Corps, including a Bronze Star with "V" and the Navy Meritorious Service Medal.  This is his third year as a volunteer coach for the Gators.

 

Tom Mitchell
Mitch has been involved in lacrosse all his life.  He has participated in every aspect of the game - as a player, a coach, and the Head Official of the California Lacrosse Association.  He won two NCAA lacrosse national championships at Navy in 1960 and 1961.  In addition to being a 1st team All-America, Mitch was the 1961 Turnbull Trophy Winner as the best attacking player in college lacrosse.  He's been inducted into the Boys' Latin School of Maryland Athletic Hall of Fame, the U.S. Naval Academy Athletic Hall of Fame, and the US Lacrosse Greater Los Angeles Chapter Hall of Fame.  Mitch has served as a board member with the California Lacrosse Association and both the Southern Nevada Lacrosse and the Henderson Lacrosse Associations. This is also his third year as a volunteer coach for the Gators.

Note
Rip and Mitch have been teammates on several championship teams and played for a bevy of coaches who have been inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
